Our History

CED Developed its design consultancy and product development capability during 1982 in New Fairfield, a small community in the foothills of the Berkshires in Western Connecticut. From that time, the concept of applying sound engineering principles to the challenges presented by a wide range of industries has been proven to help our customers achieve improved products and processes which are at once cost effective and profitable. By expanding our reach into many varied disciplines, CED doubled in size during each of its first 6 years offering quality consulting and engineering services in the medical, electronics, telecommunications, ultrasonics, printing and marking, nuclear and semiconductor fields. Our current location is our third and largest with 25,000 square feet of space for assembly, manufacturing and engineering design.
